OK Panthers, here is the drill! Winthrop is about the size of Ryal Side. There is one stop light in town and they have been running the same five or six plays since Nixon was President. And (here is the dagger), they have defeated Beverly the last six or seven years. Winthrop has the knack of running the play that the opposition isn't expecting. So . . . if you want to beat this team, you have to win the game in the trenches, you have to out hit them, and you have to out think them. Have you had enough? Do you want this team? One other quip: on offense, Winthrop bolts from the huddle so fast you'd think somebody just yelled "free pizza." Don't be intimidated by the stomping of feet. Good luck BHS and c'mon!! Win one for the Angrypantherfan.

There needs to be some type of challenge in High School Football concerning missed calls by ref's. In a game between Peabody and Revere on 10/16 Peabody had the ball on Revere's 1 yd line and as the running back jumped over the defensive line into the end zone the ball was knocked out of his hands and was picked up in the endzone and Revere ran it back 102 yds for a touchdown. Once the ball breaks the plane of the goal line it's a touch down. (end of story) There was never a discussion between the ref's to reverse the touchdown or discuss the rules. Fair is fair, you all blew the call and cost Peabody the game in which they end up losing 27 to 25.

If St. John's can take a positive out of the Evereet loss it was the defense. A win against Brockton today puts an entirely different spin on the Thanksgiving match up with Xaverian. Long shot for the eagles. #68 Colin LeDuc had a nice solo tackle for a sack in the 3rd quarter. Sessoms needs a big day and the defense needs to step up. Go Eagles.

Hey Stacey-I like Ladd-but Burgos moves this team!!!Jenkins-as St. Pierre goes so goes the Tech!!! watch out for the Headers vs Classical and HW gets on the board vs Hayden's(jerk) crew-I hope!!!!Nice for Connolly to get on the winning track as well vs Saugus.Upset special and I am going out on a limb-if this game was at Peabody i would be all over it but I am hoping Wlasuk's boys stop the Sculpins at home 19-15
